Thank you to everyone for the donations we received during our fundraising appeal.

We could never continue our rescue work without your generous support.

Many people are now using Canada Helps to make their donation - thank you.

Thank you to our donors making monthly donations to us through Canada Helps.

We are also grateful to those who designate their United Way donation to Adopt-a-dog/Save-a-life.

We also want to thank people for donating their gently used dog items. We are always in need of dog beds, crates, leashes, collars etc.  Many people have very generously passed on dog items they are no longer using.

WINTER SAFETY REMINDERS!!!

Antifreeze - Antifreeze can be lethal. It contains ethylene glycol which is sweet and tempting to your pet. Always clean up any spills in the garage or driveway. If your pet licks some or you just suspect they have, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Frostbite - Frostbite is a common winter pet hazard. When the temperatures drop keep walks short. Protect the pads on their feet with booties or try one of the easy to apply waxes that you can purchase in a pet store. The wax provides a protective layer and is easily wiped off when you get home. Booties or a protective wax will also stop the rock salt from causing irritation.
