Adopt-A-Dog/Save-A-Life is a registered charitable organization dedicated to saving abandoned dogs and placing them in loving and caring homes in Toronto and Southern Ontario Canada.

We are committed to saving dogs of all ages that would otherwise be senselessly killed for the lack of a loving home. Most of our rescues are purchased from dog pounds where they have been slated for death or selected to be sent to medical research laboratories.

Once a dog has come under our care we provide indefinite veterinarian and foster care until a suitable home can be found. Our NO-KILL policy ensures that every dog is eventually matched with just the right Care Giver.

Grace Hall founded adopt-A-Dog/Save-A-Life in 1980. In 1990 Grace was awarded the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship. For the past 20 years Grace and a handful of volunteers have worked relentlessly to save and place over 6,100 dogs.
We encourage all animal shelters to incorporate policies that would have all dogs spayed and neutered BEFORE they are put up for adoption.

We encourage all families who want to adopt a dog to understand that they are making a commitment for the life of the dog to provide proper care and the love and attention their pet deserves and needs.
